I’m only 3 minutes from my breaking point,
As the clock smashes against the wall.
Frantically searching for a cigarette,
In the mist of my downfall.
Our squat house rules are abandoned now,
We’re just 5 people in a two bedroom pigsty,
No food or pot or happy times,
Just dirty dishes stacked high.
The doors been kicked down for over a month,
The bathtubs broken too,
My apartment has fallen apart,
And I don’t know what to do.
My car is gone for the second day,
With no note to explain,
So I’m trapped in this ***** hole again,
Left alone to dwell on my pain.

Great piece. Good balance of tone and rhythm.
I can totally relate to that level of fustration.
If not for writing and music I would lose my mind!

| good write, you know most ppl go through what the poem is talk'n about. and what i always do when my life is not going well, i get up and do something about it! even if nothing really changes, at least i tried. |
