Never the same

Contributed by roughdraft on Saturday, 25th March 2006 @ 09:54:06 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I used to know you like a familiar book
With hundreds of pages and thousands of words
But it turned out to be nothing more then countless lies
Just inked in disguise

We have tried so hard to diffuse our differences
And this is so hard for the both of us
But there appears to be no hope
It is time to travel different ends of the broken rope

I used to hold you so tight
And my words made you smile so bright
But we have lost this battle of love
And I become nothing more then a memory

It’s funny what time can do
We had a healthy relationship
And now I don’t think we can make it through
It has been broken everlastingly into two

This will be so hard
To forget your name
And I'm just sad to say
Nothing will ever be the same

"I used to know you like a familiar book
