Anger and depression slowing creeping up my spine
and into my head sends me into a coma
only to wake with blood shot eyes and no
remembrance of you.
2, 3, maybe 4 sentences said in a day
Slowly, slowly, fading away is our love and hope
Yet, we stay in our shells not stepping
out to fight for anything, anything at all
work and busyness has crushed our very souls
to where we became strangers. Strangers just
passing by each other not even to glance the others way
yet, filled with pain and unease I keep pressing on with
the very last hope I have,
until one day all runs dry.

I know exactly how you feel... This happened to me last year and now we are like complete strangers. No words spoken at all. And if you two were good friends prior to the relationship, I would suggest talking to him.

| Truly a beautifully painful write. Brought tears to my eyes.. In a relationship now where I often find myself holding on to anything I can to keep us from succumbing to complete strangers.. Thank you for sharing |
