Don't Trust THAT Dumb Blonde

Contributed by SmileSkinDeep on Friday, 24th March 2006 @ 05:21:19 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Don't trust dumb blondes,
Don't allow them in
They may seem like your friend
But it is surely a blondy lie.
You already know you can't depend
On her, why trust her?

Blonde, yes, it's blinding
I wish I knew it was a mistake.
Avoided the whole "best freinds"
We became closer every day
I won't trust dumb blondes again...

Secrets don't make friends
But they have to keep her company
I've tried three times to make ammends,
She wouldn't even look at me
So much for "Forever"
What is "Forever" to a dumb blond teen girl anyways?

One day its off to the mall
The next thing I know:
She wants to smash me into the wall
No good reason either.
I hate that dumb blonde

She's been talking a lot of *****
And its all about me.
I take it we're not friends,
I had to hear it from someone
Who almost hates me
Opposite of what we used to be

So I'll be the better one
(Rather more mature)
And not talk behind anyones back
Which you're not doing, I'm so sure

Haters are gonna hate,
As long as they will,
Only until
This all ends:
It's only school

Yeah blondes are a unique breed, and chances are the maority of suicide letters are from dramatic blondes. Don't forget about the blonde plumpers crying all the time.

lmao, ive always been glad not to be a blonde. to make this write better, if you want to that is, i think coming up with different ways to refer to the blonde would be a bit better. always refering to her as the dumb blonde gets kind of old and tiring. i liked the anger in this and some of the word usage. i liked the mall and wall bit in this the most. but the blondes....the ones that change hair colors are the ones you should really watch out for because they are trying to hide something =] (a little conspiracy theory that might spice this write up as well)

i agree with the last comment, but like, i got the fact that you tried to say that that 'dumb blonde' was never a friend to you, but what did her being dumb have anything to do w/ it?
And to another one of the comments, i don't really get where you got the assumption that most suicide notes come from overdramatic blondes? not only blondes are overdramatic, i just found that statement rather ignorant.
but anyway, i didn't mean to get all defensive, good poem though.

coming from a blonde, i liked the poem (didn't care for the comment calling blondes dramatic, and plumpers)...

you expressed your hurt, your anger

I also agree that you could have used more descriptive words to describe that horrible "dumb blonde"
