Light of Life
You lead me into the darkness
Only to find a dim light
A dim light that never dies
Yet never lives
The light never dies
And never lives
The light never gets brighter
And never dims
The dim light showed a knife
A blood stained knife in your coarse hand
With the freshest blood I have ever seen
I felt nothing yet everything
Then looked down only to see a blood soaked shirt
And then dripping down onto my black cargo pants and shoes
I look up at you with a look of betrayal
You just smile
A huge smile that took up your whole face
You inject the knife into my stomach once more
The feeling of coldness swept over me
I fell to my knees
The light of life dimmed as I lay there dying
The light of life kept me living so that I could die
From the one I loved the most
i luv this poem...hope u did too!
