Mom and Dad in Heaven

Contributed by flamingblade on Thursday, 23rd March 2006 @ 04:00:21 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

They locked you in a barn
Tied you up with yarn
I believe you could've broke free
But why didn't you
You left me
All alone with no one I knew
I was just born
As I sit here with my crew
My soul is torn
You took him away from me
The person I need
Or at least needed
Cause I don't anymore
I've learned to deal
With being alone
Ever since the day
They found his bones
In the river Republican
He was eaten by a pelican?
I hardly think so
Is that even possible?
Okay fine
You wanna know the truth?
I told him I hated him
Probably broke his heart
He came apart
Went off and was murdered
My own brother?
dur dur dur
So to answer your question
No, I didn't kill my brother
But I will kill myself
I'll be there soon
Mom and Dad in heaven
