Tears have no value

Topic:
anguished
|
They roll down as they do all across the world
At various times and at various places
There is no racial boundary, no demarcation
There is no division
Mistakes made in this rough journey we call life
You wake up and face each day with a sense of anguish
You wonder why things roll this way
And will there ever come a peaceful day
You see him sitting with a sunken head
A sight that’s become ever so familiar
It’s gone on for so long that it fails to move you
And like a tear that rolls down
The tears have no value
A psyche and mindset that I fail to understand
That battle between the two sides
Where one wants to accept and support
And the other that wants to abandon and right off

I often say that tasting tears is useless, I totally agree. I really liked this poem. |
