Soft sounds, whispered thoughts, time goes by in an instant
You're here in my heart, mine but gone, all in a downward spiral of loss
Thoughts of you swirl around my mind, torturing me
As I think of you time slows to a painful crawl
When will I see you again my love?
The silence is so loud, the whispering so sharp, the air so cold
All I can feel is the numbness from the pain
