Something screams to me
that I still hold your hand.
This illussion is pain
held deep in my heart.
Was it something to see
as I held on in vain
but it was like sand
slipping through all the way.
It seems I've made it so far
but I can still see the scars,
the ashes of a once life
that still creep through my veins.
And maybe I'm fated
between heaven and hell
singing a swansong to purgatory
when all I can dream is holding your hand.
I still swear that I loved you...

I like the title to this poem.. I liked this alot. I thought that it flowed great and it was well worded. I really like this.. great job...

The title of this drew me in. It really is wonderful I am so jealous that I didn't think of it first :P
I like the poem, too. It's very sad. I know that things can get hard, but I know that they make you stronger, too.
