I saw you there tonight.
the one with the smile, and looks to kill.
You saw me too.
Don't pretend you couldn't see through clouded eyes.
With a bottle in hand
And a glint in your eye.
You wanted to hurt me as much as I you.
And when the music died down, and the crowd thinned out,
When that girl forgot how to dance
You and I forgot each other
And went our seperate ways.
Later in the night, i saw you again.
This time you could not move.
You could not object.
Forced to listen for once in your life.
I guess this is the last time.
Surreal as it may be...it's no ******* dream.
Because I know you saw me.
You saw my plea, my promise, my hope.
And I saw your back.
Again.

keep writting
its a disipline worth getting into
not everying will work
but when it does
i like this poem
maby like is the wrong word
i admire the concentration of emotion and the clarity of expression
the poet speaks truth
not reality truth
the truth behind or beyond the actuality
and the mundane |

Very powerful you've expressed your feelings superbly here, putting pen to paper can help sooth the emotions so much.
