Dark clouds hang above this life
Casting shadows of misery
Hiding me from the light
Sheltering me from love…
I lay frozen in fear of this world
That now rests above me
Pushing on the knife
That presses into my soul
Digging deeper through my pain
Leaving scars along the flesh
Where the blades of love once dug deep…
Remembering the laughs along the way
The evil eyes of discontent
Leering unto me
Passing their judgment
They smile in my face
And spit on my back as they leave me…
Left
Alone
To force my way through life
To struggle with the worry
Fighting this feeling
Of giving up
And giving in
And coming to this realization…
That I can’t do it anymore…

YOU can do it.............You have so much and more. Try smiling, and thinking of happiness........Yes hurt is hard to give up on...But you Chris, can do it. Yes sad write. Lots of feeling in it. Just turn it around....Lift your head up and know you are worth it.
