Self restraint of those who have never given you strain
Your languid manner of flight has tasted sweet never
And shunning those of no conquest has been ineffectual
I can smell your evasion in the sweat you pore
While I lick it clean and hoped it would seep
Not limpid but hazy in the recoil of sight
While words matched where demeanor clashed
And passive hair pulling made me come
Your crux has never been so delayed
Your point has recession in never leaving your lips
Parlous, where lust met love and one ate the other selfishly
I can’t have, I can’t retreat
