I wrote you a letter last September
finally found the words to say
i'd like to think you would reconsider
but i know my words will keep you bitter
I ended it with an "I love you"
such a shame i never got the nerve to send it
such a shame I'm still your fool

Now it's December,
And I'm not quite ready to surrender
The snow, like your heart, is still too cold to touch
So I'll wait for another day, I dont need this that much
I'm all alone and doing fine
I'm all alone, but sometimes I lie.
