The Dark Sea

Contributed by whiteleo1984 on Monday, 20th March 2006 @ 06:57:20 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Across the darkness of the sea
a voice rose up and spoke to me
telling me of the great things that I was to do
but never told me about you.

I thought that forever I would be me
but you came and changed what I would be
thru all of my days
I hoped that you would come my way.

Now looking across this dark sea
I asked the voice who she would be
I asked if she would have hair like the bright sun
and if her voice could calm even the darkest one

I asked what kind of person she would be
and that if she even knew me
the voice replied with a voice that cheered me up
and I thanked that voice and asked that things would be perfect from above

The voice replied with a calm talk
and told me to be careful how i would walk
told me to always be true to me
and never come back to the darkness of the sea.
