Son

I tied a ballon to your hand
Six months old
Your favorit color red
You were so happy
My eyes teared
I worked your legs
I promied I would do all I can

You couldn't lift your head
Who would do such a thing
We should pray for him
I pumped your legs
I watched you grin
I rocked you and held on tight
Fragile you laid in my bed

Cerebral Palsy
Child abuse
Charlie I saw Jesus
Mother and I prayed
The weak shall lead
She also was there for you
Lord,Lord have mercy

The courts came in
I rolled you over that big ball
Has it been that long
Years and days just pass by
I pumped your legs
You always smile
Would you like to adopt him

In you I saw Jesus
In His image
He made you special
Charlie you help carry His cross
I pumped your legs
You are now our son
I was crushed

You handle everything so well
You mastered vido games
The Our Father you really sing
Sports are in your head
I held you under your arms
A mile we walked to McDonalds
You got your first wheels

A power wheelchair red
Eight years old
You drove like hell
Still do
Now your twenty-five
This is my son who I am well
pleased
The tears I shed

Some tomorrow I won't be here
Charles you make me proud
Jesus the Son
Charlie my son
Keep your faith
Smile on
Dads just cry happy tears

To my son
Charles Stephen
I Am with you always

Oh what tender and uniquely deep love this dad has for his son who is himself the chosen instrument to teach us all a good lesson.
Little son shares in the sufferings of the Lord Jesus and is blessed together with his dad.

Dennis I have no computer, (it expired 4 days ago,) but was fortunate that tax man allowed me for 2 minutes use of his computer.
Blessings
Elizabeth
