That Day

The Day i was saved

As i sit there with the knife on my rist.
I grab it tighter with my fists.
Is this the right choice im about to make.
Or could this be my biggest misstake.
I take a second to think back.
About all those people who never gave a crap.
They make my life a living hell.
For what reasons i can never tell.

So without a second thought i take the swipe.
What im doing must be right.
As the blood drips slowley down.
Drip by drip it hits the ground.
My life slowley drips away.
No more problems in my way.

Then i hear this loud scream.
It's my freind she just found me.
She grabs me closely and starts to cry.
She looks at me and screams please o please dont you die.
I need to tell you something i dare not lie.
Ive always loved you always cant you see
I cant let you get taken away from me.

I hear all this then i realized.
This is the last person i wanted to make cry.
I love you to i said with the glim of death in my eyes.
For someone to care for me came as a big suprize.
I felt into a dark sleep with her on my mind.
i woke in a hospital with her in by my side.
This girl is the reason i was alive.
Her love for me kept me going inside.

If she never came in that one faithful day.
I wouldnt be writting this to you all today.

Well I'm so very glad that she did find you that day, and by the sounds of it so are you. This is a well written poem even for a rough one. Well done, keep the writing up.
