Sitting in the Darkness of My Life

The flowers have now gone and wilted,
The pedals crisp on the ground.
The browning grass and hardened dirt,
The leaves still falling down.
This is the picture of my life,
The scenery I look at.
You are welcome but you will not come,
There would be no reason for that.
I’m used to it now though,
This cold and dismal place.
Sitting here all alone,
Cuz no one will look at my face.
If you knew what it was like here,
Then maybe you would join me.
But no one bothers to try to help,
And now I’ll never be free.
