THE GARDEN

Contributed by Adelle on Friday, 17th March 2006 @ 06:44:08 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

In a garden so sweet
I prance around with my feet-
in my beautiful flowing white gown
my feet are bare as I twirl and prance around
I am in a jungle of flowers, bushes and trees
extravagantly beautiful are all of these
yellow, blue and lavender
I have found a place with out a care
at home, in my conscious mind
tormented is my life
the trials are now piled high
and I cant take it any more in my mind
so I drift off
into my subconscious thoughts
to a place where only beauty exists
I am in a garden so sweet
and in the center of this thick garden air
is a table top for two
upon the table, a sparkling white cloth I view
with lilacs and daffodils too-
as I approach the bench,
there I see him sit
the only one I ever loved
as we sit there,
and enjoy the beautiful crisp air
we toast to the love we share
with a drink, he then reaches for me
takes my hand and dances with me
in a jungle of beauty
he holds me close and whispers he loves me
and gives me the flower more perfect than any
the flower that will never die
along with the love that will ever long, stay alive
all this in my subconscious mind-
the world with only him and I-
shanna 02-05-06
