Burned Out Flames of the Hearts

Contributed by MysticFireFairy on Friday, 17th March 2006 @ 11:16:49 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

I see the beauty in your eyes
Hiding behind that disguise
Take it away, take it all away
Take it away, away from me
They say that our love is gone
But the burned out hearts
Have just stayed too long

So walk in this path to where it may take you
And see if life is really faking
The sky speaks in the time of change
And all regrets seem so unexplained
Lets take this chance to start over
And try to love all we've left sober
Believe that it is not too late

I see the light in your smile
Tracing back to the moments worth while
Don't break it away, kill it away
Don't take it away, away from me
Lets live like we have no memory

Chasing and tasting all that's here
Your scars embrace every one of your fears
Coil up the dreams and find that we're not
Dead just yet
Bodies still keep on breathing
Though our souls keep on sleeping
Speak to me now, as if there were no tomorrow
What if we wake and there is no tomorrow?

Burned out hearts, live in all their sorrow
And drown in the tears that stay forever
If you're willing to cry, you should at least be willing to smile
In rememberance of better days
And for tomorrow

Live for tomorrow
