She's twisted, strange, out of her lane;
she's the girl who thinks she's insane.
she likes to be alone, in her own thought;
she's the girl, it's all bad luck she's brought.
a mind to save, a life to waste
a second too fast, an hour in haste.
she's all jumbled, that's her emotions;
she's the girl, pretending she has no compassion.
she's feeling alone, still she's in a crowd;
she's too quiet, wanting to scream out loud.
the mind is muddled, intoxicated smell
the time is ticking, it's gone, can't you tell?
she's trying to be wise, trying everything;
she's broken, and she's hurting.
she's felt hate, but never affection;
she's just creating dreadful confliction.
summer has gone, winter will arrive
the leaves are dead, snow is alive.
she has talents she barely shows;
she's the girl who's gifted--ssh, nobody knows.
she's just left out, nobody cares;
she's the girl nobody will stare.
leaving her home, she wants to do that
finding her darkness, wherever she's at.
she wants to go back, can't remember where;
she's the girl, wandering here and there.
I think she needs someone to appreciate;
she's the girl who wants someone appropriate.
too forgiving, naive, and sad
too stoic, always hidden when mad.
she's scared of the dark, thoughts hard to steer;
she's the girl unwanted, she's alone in here.
she's alone, scared, never sane;
she's just the girl, benumbed in pain.
