It has come to this
Your heart bruised and battered
And me still standing by the water
Watching you drown, waving goodbye
I saw it coming
And I gave you too much time
And no one is listening now but me
Waiting for you to reach out
Why are you so alone
When I am on the other side
Standing at the crossroad
With my heart filled with thoughts of you
We belong somewhere together
For the time being, separated by our misery
And I will watch you slip through my fingers
The one I could not save…

I think the one line should maybe have been--Here I am sanding at the devide. Just my thought.
