Last Night I Saw A Fairy....

Contributed by bethwood on Thursday, 16th March 2006 @ 03:47:43 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Last night I saw a fairy
Check if your teeth were clean
I watched her hop on to your gums
To check them in between.

As she made one final check
She sprinkled fairy dust
Then turned to me to whisper
'Hygiene is such a must.

'For children eat so many sweets
The sweet fairy told me so
That if you fail to keep them clean
To the dentist you will go.'

So now each night at bedtime
As you brush them in between
Remember what the fairy said
'Make sure your teeth are clean!'.

What a fun way to encourage your boys to brush. Frame it and put it in the bathroom. They'll smile every time ---
and brush in between. Neat poem!

thankyou again for your comments!! referring to your advice to frame some of them, yes i have done, i used to get commisioned to do personlized pieces of work for people, they would tell me the subject and all about the person and i would write a one off piece and frame it for them, i tried to start selling them but as you have probebly found yourself it is so hard to be published, so by doin them myself was the only way to get them marketed, but then i felt too cheeky to ask for payment, so that business venture didnt go too well!!!
