It doesn't matter that I feel like killing you,
I still love you.
I may be angry, I may be hurt,
You made me feel like dirt.
Yet I still want you in my life,
Without you, I feel like I am on the edge of a knife.
You hurt me deep,
But I am still willing to take that leap.
I know you will hurt me again,
Without you all my heart does is complain.
I can no longer shut myself down,
In my emotions I drown.
You helped me become this.

| OUCH, WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST KICK HIM IN THE CAJONIES INSTEAD. THE LAST LINE SAYS IT ALL DOESN'T IT. MY FAVORITE LINE IS "I feel like I am on the edge of a knife" VERY DESCRIPTIVE, AND SAYS A LOT WITH A MINIMUM OF WORDS, LEAVES NO DOUBT HOW YOUR FEELING. THIS POEM NOT ONE OF MY FAVORITE, BUT LIKE MOST OF YOUR POETRY INTERESTING AS AN INSIGHT TO WHAT IS GOING ON IN YOUR MIND. AS FOR A PERSONAL LEVEL I KNOW THIS WON'T HELP, BUT I THINK YOU GIVE TO MUCH POWER AWAY IN THIS RELATIONSHIP. HE HELPED YOU TO BECOME THIS? |

A most powerful write. The last line speaks
most articuately. Perhaps next time around it may be wise 2 seek help else where. Most
revealing from the hearts point of veiw. Nicely done.
