Please Dad come back,
Without you here our days are black,
Our smiles are a thing of the past,
Over our world a shadows been cast.
You lay there in a deep sleep,
To see you like that makes us weep,
The machines are breathing for you,
If you didn’t wake what would we do?
We miss you just being there,
With you everything we want to share,
You mean the world to us and more,
And this rocked us to out core.
Please come back we miss you so,
We miss your smile, your laugh, your glow,
I’d give anything to have you close by,
I feel too numb to sit and cry.
My heart is hurting as is my world,
Dad, please come back to your little girl,
I pray that you will rest a while,
Then come back to us wearing a smile.
