We fell
A white
rice wine
suffering our tongues
to twist and tie
the truth
I had a friend
long years ahead
graying thin
and bled
of all his joy
He wrote to me
with words
that I have
never said
and spoke to me
of things
that I have
never read
He told me once
that truth is...
is the truest thing
i said
He told me once
that truth is
often dead
in the murdered
mouths of love.
We sat and watched
the Arizona sky
the bright light blue
and white rice wine
spinning into view.
He sipped he dripped
he curled and cried
I sipped and watched
the ground collide
with clear dry
scratches
and an empty mans tears.

As for me, I think this one of your finest. Dare I say it's "throbbing" with meaning? It really is a moving, thoughtful and rather sad, very well-written, piece of work.
Get over that pain quick, eh?
