All is Well

Contributed by childsFaith46 on Tuesday, 14th March 2006 @ 07:51:06 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Don’t you dare go and say it
Don’t you say that all is well
The thought shouldn’t pass through your head
Seemingly, you think otherwise
From walking in you luxury
You step and make my demise
To gain the upper hand,
You push down upon me
Theirs no need for apologies
They go through hollow ears
Trust me on this, just get used to this
Obviously its no use to disguise
Because I know im not wrong
You’ve known this all along
So now, Just step out
Step back and look at your feet
See the remenants of my broken heart
You stepped on it just to get above
Above the influence of me
After all, what else could you have used?
No one else bothered to be your muse…

Don’t you think for a second that all is well with me
Cant you see my façade is well worn through?
That its only color left is transperency?
Maybe you see the world is seen through rose colored glasses
All are the same, theres no room for skews
So wat do you see then?
Should I even know?
Maybe I should spend a day in your shoes,
Not to see what your going through,
Just to get you off of my heart
Maybe I should pray for you,
But not for unity,
But for me to part
Maybe that’s whats you see as well
Maybe, you think that all is well…

I absolutely loved this poem i can definitely relate to the writer. i have been used the same way recently by one of my friends, (now asociate), and i know they just used me to get ahead, the nerve of some people thinking they can trample on others just to gain their way to the top, right! They use you for financial gain while causing you heart ach and pain. oh yeah, im feeling this. tell your friend to keep writing, and one of you keep publishing! peace and love -china r
