Thru His Eyes

Contributed by whiteleo1984 on Tuesday, 14th March 2006 @ 07:39:25 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Thru his eyes, you'll see the world as it is
you'll never see what it was meant to be
Thru his eyes, you'll wonder how he lives
and you know the world was not meant for me.

Thru his eyes, you'll watch him go by
never to look back, never to be true
Thru his eyes, you may often ask him why
and how life never left him a clue.

Thru his eyes, you'll watch him continue to walk
with the death and scourn
Thru his eyes, you'll never hear him talk
or even stop to mourn.

Thru his eyes, you'll walk along his road
always looking back and never to know
Thru his eyes, you'll always do what you're told
and you can't stop to tell him no.

Thru his eyes, you'll never see the light of the day
you'll always have fear inside
Thru his eyes, who knows what you may see
when you take a look in my eye.

I visualized myself as an inner spirit looking outside through a persons eyes, but then the ending suggested i was the person looking into the persons eyes or eye! cyclops or something, i don't know. ha ;) or maybe the spiritual eye, yeah, that makes sense. I usually try to feel a poem as i read it. i think this is a good write, keep writing. -china r

um i don't know if the previous person who commented was write, but what i thought that the ending meant was when saying "through is eyes" you meant through your eyes... which seems to make more sense but anyway. really great poem, fantastically written, i absolutely loved it.

or even stop to mourn." was my favorite line never talking or never mourning such an image i love it
