Forever

When the only color
Known to man is black,
And when the sun
Is a thing of the past,
I will clearly see your smile
Through the intense darkness.

When the Earth
Begins to chill
Because the sun
Has betrayed us all,
I will still get
The rush of warmth
When I spot those eyes
As they question this desolate land.

When the drooling green monster
Creeps out of the closet,
And the slimy deformed aliens
Begin to populate our planet,
I will still feel secure
As long as spot your body,
Even among the foreign creatures.

When our globe stands still,
And wind is extinct.
When noise is hibernating,
And silence is considered a sound,
Your voice will still
Ring through the dense atmosphere.

When burning death swirls
Around our heads
And creeps up our nostrils,
Your reassuring scent
Will overpower
The decaying of our fathers.

When bottomless lakes evaporate,
And rain is explained
As a part of history,
When our eyes
Are so dried out
It's hard to hold them opem,
When the air so athirst
Just swallowing is death itself,
I will still be able to feel
The moistness of your lips
Against my cheek.

Beyond our day,
And our sons day,
And their sons day,
Beyond the existence of human race,
Beyond all force and power,
Beyond all,
No matter what becomes of us,
I will still love you.
