The American Idol

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Thursday, 30th January 2003 @ 07:30:00 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

The pressures on,with little time,
singing our hearts out,
learning the words sung to rhyme,
this is hard,no doubt,
Theres alot of good ones,
will they notice me,
Trying to impress Simon,
Is a mystery,
My hearts beating so fast,
will I sing off key,
Will I be one who will last,
or will they boot me?
Tears flow for those who lost,
and the ones who made it to the next round,
all of the time & effort this cost,
Just for Paula to say,"I love that sound!"
I feel sorry for those who leave to go home,
But happy for us that stay,
To be able to tell family on the phone,
That would make their day,
Just a couple more shows,
and we all will finally see,
which one stays or goes,
who the next American Idol will be!?

Lowmans, we've had quite a few of these
"selection" programs on TV to pick the best for a solo role or a group. Thanks for a look from the inside. Tough subjest, nice write.
