Will you lift me high
If I buy you flowers
And tell you I love you
For I was high once
And the flowers lived lavishly
But the words were still hollow
Height is distance from reality
TV is the shield from clarity
Because I’m too busy
Chasing radiation, rays and rainbows.
Comforts are simple
Denial
Indulgence
Clichés
Hush your tears while I prepare my flight
Rush of fears while I increase my height
Velocity obtained
Escape

God wouldn't it be great to just escape from this world and view it from a distance?
The only time i've managed it is through meditation, the only other time was when the doctor messed up my meds!!
Great work.
