Spring Is Here

Spring is here.
As the sun rises anew,
The wind sings its song so gently,
And the birds fly so free,
The ocean spray is fresh from soft rain,
Threes; dressed in color so green,
Smooth grass full and comforting,
Clouds drift slowly by,
Spring is here.
As the new moon makes the sky aglow,
The wind whispers good night,
And the birds float down to their nest.
The ocean ripples a soothing lullaby,
Threes; sleep for their color to renew,
Grass of silk, so warm,
Clouds move on to another day,
Spring is here.
Can’t you feel it?
Can’t you smell it?
Can’t you touch it?
Can’t you breath in every drop of it?
Be wary that you don’t miss this wonder,
Enjoy every last stroke of time,
Let the new life fill you,
Stop all your tears now,
Spring is here.
Soon it will be gone,
Suffocated from the mighty heat,
So quickly it will leave you,
But worry not,
It will be back next year,
At the same dawn,
But you might not be here,
So live now,
Spring is here.
