Angel with Blood Soaked Wings

In the sacred dreams of death
I'm staggering to survive,
And with each infected breath
I forget for what I did strive.
He shatters all my brittle bones
As I crawl to see her face.
Isaw her saddened soul that roams
This arrid and desolate place.
She walked with such a radiant smile
But eyes crying, filled with sorrow.
I had longed to see her for such a while
Yet nothing was felt in my heart so hollow.
Every sin I had committed
Was done with thoughts of her.
So now I remain unrested
Weighted by wings of gossamer.
A warm embrace we both had shared
Now results in our bodies both lifeless.
For no tears are shed by few who cared
Or enemies in blood and sess.
The blood of foes is now staining
My fragil weightless wings.
As my spirit it seems is waining
From a single angel who sings.
Since love's tears are constantly raining
from this angel with blood soaked wings.
