I Dare You ((#2))

Contributed by Drapes on Saturday, 11th March 2006 @ 10:47:31 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

I dare you to listen.

I dare you to feel,
I dare you to care.
I dare you to wake up from your pretty princess dream.
I dare you to look in the mirror,
I dare you to cry.
I dare you to look in the mirror and cry.
I dare you to slit your wrists.
I dare you to bash your head against the wall until you can't see.
I dare you to bite your tongue until it bleeds.
I dare you to hear the truth,
I dare you to tell the truth,
I dare you to believe the truth.
I dare you to worry.
I dare you to be concerned.
I dare you to SHUT YOUR MOUTH.
I dare you to forget about YOURSELF.
I dare you to stop.
I dare you to stop pretending.
I dare you to be real.
I dare you to be a real person,
I dare you to be a real acquaintance,
I dare you to be a real friend.

I dare you.
Are you up for the challenge?
