The THREEs in Life

I just don't know if I can give this justice, but maybe I will try;
To share some of my ideas and thoughts that are hidden deep inside.
They are not exactly original as far as their concept goes,
But the way they tinker with the fibers of my mind, I hope it shows.
The simple word concepts could be considered, 'Three Things in Life'!
You don't have to agree with them, they may or not cause you strife;
But please bear the thoughts of me and know that I tend to agree
In the area of these concepts that are listed in three.
The very first three in life are used up and never come back.
They are time, words and opportunity -- used right won't cause flack.
Some times we wish a single moment would just return again,
To re-say words or use the opportunity offered then.
The second group of three found in life when offered are not lost.
They are peace, hope and honesty that are given without cost.
These three will lift up those around when they are worried and down!
They are encouraging and gain a smile replacing a frown!
The third set of three can be considered most valuable to others!
They are love, faith and prayer -- that binds family and friends one to another!
Just look at the lonely, the torn down and sick--they need these three to just live.
I know because I've been lonely in the midst of people that are festive!
The fourth group are thought as the goal of life, but never for certain.
They are dreams, success and fortune that are shadowed beyond a 'curtain'!
We all would like to attain these--but then is this what we really need?
They fall in the area of want and it's our ambitions we feed.
The next group of three seem to really a man or woman fashion.
They are hardwork, sincerity and commitment that shows passion.
They mold us and make us into 'worthwhile people' that others see.
Sometimes they just drain us of our wildest attempts to just be 'me'!
Of course, there are the three that finally destroys a person in the end.
They're lust, pride and anger; which divides a family and the best of friends!
People don't like to be around others that are so full of ME-esteem:
The pride just oozes, the lusts never satisfied, the anger is exreme!
All these threes should prod each of us to stop and seriously think:
What do we wish to exhibit and how do we wisely link
The threes in our lives with others we relate to ev'ry day?
We all need to seek the Lord's wisdom to help us on our way!
After all the very final three that are truly, truly constant
Are the Father, Son and Holy Ghost -- who should never be that distant
We need these THREE in our lives just to cope with every earthly day
They give us the wisdom, and love, and guidance all along the way!
There are probably many, many more sets of concepts of three,
But my tinkered fibers need to stop right there and just let this be!
Besides, I still have a long tough road to travel in this life's climb
And for me, this might be just a tad too much to swallow this time.

No need for me to complicate my life at this date and age. I will stick with the trinity. There are all kinds of threes.. from stop lights to three strikes. Very enjoyable write. Full of wisdom. You write very well, lots of threes that can be applied to life and benefit others.
