Without Her Love

Her love was once mine
but she never allowed the time
for our love to grow
and our true love she will never know
Her lips were like the red rose
and happiness follows her wherever she goes
Her skin was soft like a precious quilt
but without her, I began to wilt
I remember her beautiful smile
I would walk with her for miles
I think about her each and every day
Maybe she will understand that some day
she was there for me thru thick and thin
but now without her, I feel nothing within
