Painful Release

Her wings are chained and bound
By a man never lost or found.
Holding the key to her salvation
Yet witholding his creation.
A lonely girl with hopeful eyes
Who holds her head and cries
Is sitting and always waiting
All the while anger is restraining.
Her fury grows then manifests
As she sleeps so she can rest.
The realization of her fury
Comes and sets her free.
The wings are torn and serated
From the lonely now liberated.
Sadly from her painful release
Her relentless sorrow will never cease.

I felt this...It was so beautifully sad and heartbreaking...
And since your name is Faust I shall dedicate "Faustian Lovers" to you... |
