another emotion died yesterday
i think it was compassion
or maybe that one already died
i can't remember
some emotions still remain
growing fat off the death of the others
still have hatred, and anger, self-pity too
is self-pity an emotion?
i can't remember
i think i used to love a girl
her body, pale and lithe
her misery, a reflection of my own
sadly, love was the first emotion to die
yes, i think i used to love that girl
i can't remember
i think i used to give a *****
i think i used to care
i think, at one point, i was alive
i can't remember
i think i killed myself last night
i think i gave my handgun head
'til it came a hollow point into my brain
i think i might be dead
i can't remember

As always Roy u captured the essence of the poem. I loved this a lot the confusion was very evident. Never stop writing.
