MY CUP HAS OVERFLOWED

Contributed by Adelle on Thursday, 9th March 2006 @ 12:39:57 AM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Drown me out of this misery
my cup has over flowed
cleanse and take away my sins from me
my pain has long enough followed

my trials are now too hard to bare
I need a breath of fresh air-
my cup is tipping over
my cup is over flowing with water

but still the fountain of trials
into my cup overflows
the pain increases and grows
as my cup overflows

drown me out of this misery
my cup has over flowed
cleanse and take away my sins from me
my pain has long enough followed

wash my hands and face
from my sins that have taken place
wash my heart and soul
from the pain that’s overflowed

forgive me forgive my every enemy
let us all heal from our every pain and agony
this over flowing cup, take away please
these pains and trials have long enough stayed with me

drown me out of this misery
my cup has overflowed
cleanse and take away my sins from me
my pain has long enough followed

my father will take them from me
but only at the expence of giving them to he-
then he’ll take away my pain and agony
and will stop my cup from overflowing

my God, my God what have I done?
My father, my father what to me has happened?
I’ve been hurt and abandoned from my fellow men
but I’ve chosen to live in sin by chosing to walk this road alone-
I have abandoned my father in heaven

drown me out of this misery
my cup has overflowed
cleanse and take away my sins from me
my pain has long enough followed
