As The Walls Close In

Contributed by pixie on Wednesday, 8th March 2006 @ 01:44:05 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

As the walls close in around my soul,
Depression stops me from feeling whole,
I can feel death inching ever near,
I feel the pain and I feel the fear.

My fragile mind begins to break,
As the insanity inside begins to wake,
It swallows me whole like a bitter pill,
I am in its sights and it needs to kill.

I can’t escape the dark corner of my mind,
As the devil and depression always find,
They hunt me down like a hungry pack,
Inflicting on me a blood thirsty attack.

The pain gets too much for me to bear,
As into the devils eyes I stare,
Locked in a trance with the lord of the dark,
And upon my soul he leaves his mark.

My fate is sealed there’s no way out,
Nobodies here to hear my shouts,
I will rot down here no flesh left on bones,
And my heart is the devil’s to call his own.

Awesome poem man. The way i look at it is no one can decide my fate. Fight to live how you want to be.

Fantastic write again. You have such a way with words.

My fragile mind begins to break,
As the insanity inside begins to wake,

Wow.
