Grief
|
Slender beams of accusation
enter this darkened chamber
as I kneal
always forlorn
always cold
frozen here
waiting.
Haloed forms wrought in panes of glass loom
as dust dances in
the air
forming an image in my mind
sparing not my
naked soul.
Paleness on an angel's face.
I raise my head now
crying out against
this callous fate.

So much potential here. The forced ryhme of "face" and "fate" took something away from the piece, though. Look forward to more. |
