I've come to the point where I want to snap
Life just isn't going how I want it to
I'm surprised I haven't already cracked
From all of the things I have to go through.
I know they have a lot to teach
And that's why their thrown my way
It may not be a day at the beach
It's like finding a needle in hay.
But why do I get more then others?
Why can't I just get a few?
Sometimes I feel I'm smothered
I just don't know what to do.
You can only do so much at a time
Before you take on too much
But not helping seems to be a crime
It's like taking away someones crutch.
I love to help people, don't get me wrong
It brings great joy to my life
But life isn't always like a love song
Sometimes their's always going to be some strife.
Lindsay Lohan said it best
"Confessions of a Broken Heart"
She puts lifes ways to the test
And she knew just where to start.
"I wait for the postman to bring me a letter
I wait for the good lord to make me feel better
And I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders
Family in crisis that only grows older."
Sometimes waiting just doesn't work
No matter how much you try
Eventually, it'll make you hurt
Probably even make you cry.
You should take life into your own hands
Never wait for things to come around
It's like an hourglass, if you watch the sand
You'll never get off the ground.
Life consists of many different faces
Some are more clear then others
They usually just leave traces
But some, they like to hover.
Though, usually dark and despairing
Life can teach you plenty of things
You just have to be understanding and caring
It's not over till the fat lady sings.
Point of the story folks is this
Life doesn't always go our way
Rarely is life pure heavenly bliss
However, we should always keep ourselves at bay.

Good reminder! There is a silver lining--somewhere and someday--but sometimes in the midst of the heaviness it is hard to continue on. We all know it will pass in time, but we get too deep into the problem that there seems no way out!
Happiness everafter is only in fairy tales... so it seems!
Great write!
