its time to bid your mind ado

Contributed by jrtoews on Monday, 6th March 2006 @ 08:32:35 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

the futile beings on the earth so fair
stabbing its wonderful skin
we used to be pure with a wonderous glare
now evil rises within
media erased whatever we knew
brainwashed the young and old
its time to bid your mind ado
the for sale sign was up and it sold
pop culture has taken my mind in advance
remember when it was bright and aglow?
remember when paris reminded you of france?
and now you remember a porn video
remember when music was actually good?
people wrote and played guitar
for goodness sakes its 6 strings and some wood
it really isnt that hard
a society driven by material and sex
do i want to raise kids in this???
do i want them to see whats up for them next
will i be sending them in to a media abiss?
these question i guess i cant really answer
but this is all i know
theres worse things in life than media cancer
solution:ignore and let it go

To start with there are a couple of spelling errors, though i got the jist. If ado is supposed to be adieu as in the traditional gernan farewell expression. Also abyss, though all in all i got your message, and don't disagree with it. Thats the problem with propaganda, it's all so subtle these days
