If The Day

Contributed by wizard on Monday, 6th March 2006 @ 08:32:02 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

If the day could hold a dream
Or a beating heart of gold,
For you that dream would be dreamt
And love the heart would hold.

If the morning dew could speak
It would say the sun has cried,
For when the twilight falls my love,
Of you it will be denied.

And the midday sun would damn the clouds
As they impede your flawless view;
Of all the things it encounters,
There are none as pure as you.

If the setting sun could bid adieu
It would kiss you with a beam,
While asleep in its midnight peace
You’d stroll within its dream.

If the sparkling moonlit sky
Could realign the stars,
The constellation Love would be seen;
And it would be solely ours.

This is positively breathtaking! One of the most beautiful and
resplendent writes I've been witness to. I would love to point
out which stanza in particular captured my breath, but I would
then be forced to copy and paste the whole dazzling composition!

[But I will say, that last stanza is perfection, dear Paul! ]

Simply exquisite!

*loves this*

Paul..

People of talent are far more abundant than is supposed.
In fact, to appreciate, thouroughly the work of what we call genius,
is to possess all by which the work was produced.

Incredibili industria

Forever-

Billy

Verry beautiful in deed, colors of love straight from the pallet heart. A most lovely work.
