Things not easily parted with
Are pride and ego
The sacrifice of fulfillment
Compelling argument
A decisive blow to the inaugural
First lady of sorrow
The function of behavior
Is that it can be predicted by its past
The best indicator of thievery
When the supplies prepared don’t last
Garnished creations in mirrored doorways
Predicated on fact
Or relative truths
The collection of tools
Barricaded principles
Surrounded, made up to be a spectacle
Gathered, the crowd throws testaments of stone
Predict the future
To no avail
Obsess on the consequence
Of nights spent alone in dark place in and out of sleep
Mounds, to heaps, to plies of dreamy debris
Breasts erect in perky schemes
Solicitude in solitary predicaments
Measuring up, slowly, in small, tiny-paced, increments
Fulfillment, where it started, counter-intuitive, objective
To create mass hysterics, prosthetics, in sheets of velvet
