I'm nobody, yep i've come to grips with who I am
Yep I'm nobody, but I don't give a damn
My automobile is crap, but I wouldn't expect less
My world is in trouble, i'm a mess consumed with stress
I've been single going on far to long given up on love that's strong
I can't make my way into a heart when i know I don't belong
Don't feel sorry for me I may be hurt but I never bleed
May be down but never out, I get just what I need
But never a penny more, and I keep trying to move but I'm stuck
And I'll never get far cause I put all my faith in that luck
My mom is just another girl who never liked me very much
Always telling me how far i am out of touch, and i'm a fool and such
Life for me is just a trip, say what you want I don't give a rip
If I ever get a grip, but i'm gonna enjoy my life cause it's mine all mine
I don't need your permission to pretend it's fine just fine
So excuse me while I embrace the rain and soak up the sunshine

I appreciate and wholeheartedly applaud the sentiments expressed in the author's note, as well as the end of the poem. This is a breath of the fresh air that keeps us going. Well done.
