STILL IN MY VISION

Contributed by Adelle on Monday, 6th March 2006 @ 10:41:37 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Sitting in the faded distance
far off, I can still see him
in the corner of my eye
in the corner of my life
some days come and go
sure of where I am headed
and some days come and go
not so sure about any of it
sitting here
with my elbows on my knees
contemplating peace
what is peace?
With a sigh, and my head down I lean on my knees
feeling sure and confident of where I am heading
then up, I lift my head a little
to see the exact vision of where I will go
and then I see him
in the corner of my eyes vision
not understanding why is he still there
feeling emotions of great anger
he’s no longer suppose to be here,
no longer suppose to be in my heart-
wanting to scream
as I stand and hit my chest in great pain,
pain I am no longer suppose to be feeling
off in the faded distance there he stands
as he stairs off into another direction, another land
with tears ever so streaming down my face
down my chest
dripping down to my knees
dropping into the puddle of insanity
going on and forward I must still do
but I hate him for not wanting me the way he used to-
peace, what is peace?
I do not know, I do not see
I do not feel what peace is suppose to be-
when in the corner of my eye through my vision
in the far distance, I still see him-
walking away in another direction to another land-
