How I Feel

Contributed by Redhotchilichic on Monday, 6th March 2006 @ 06:18:42 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Sometimes I wish I was allowed to express myself
But I'm the one who always has to have a smile on my face
and tell you that things are great
when they're not
Sometimes I get so depressed
But I can't tell you how much you stress me out
without having you shout at me
Can't you see?
I know that you have your problems
And I understand that you're sad
But It's not my place
To calm you down all the time
Sometimes you make me so mad
I hate how you place your problems on my shoulders all the time
Even though you turn a blind eye to mine
You just tell me to cheer up because things will work out fine
But how do you know that?
No one knows what's written in the future for sure
and that's a definate fact
This is how I feel
At least you have friends to talk to
Why can't you talk to them
Instead of driving me insane?
I don't have any friends
So what can I do?
Don't you think I need a shoulder to cry on too?
Sometimes I wish that I can be as strong as the Tiger tattoo inked into my back
But I cry myself to sleep at night
And keep my thoughts locked up tight
I hope for my sake
That one day that box won't break
Because If that happens I don't know what I'd do
I only hope that soon
My dark thoughts will heal
And maybe then I can change the way I feel

I don't think you have to ever worry about rhyming, expressing your feelings is the main thing. By getting it all down so to speak can only help with the healing process.
People spend too much time trying to find the right words, phrases etc, but just writing it all down without worrying at times can be as helpful as talking out your problems with a close friend.

Friend some times we feel that our life is conquered by the worldly tribulations, but dear we must learn to look at the other side of our life which is harmonies and blissful, learn to look straight-up at the crisis eye to eye and laugh and watch the transformation in your life; I am sure you will enjoy every moment of your life.
Good style of expressing you inner feelings.
