Four hundred miles down the road and not being able to rest yet
Always looking forward to that next gold buckle that you just might get
Deciding to chase the rodeos is better than any high that you've gone through
Because when that bug gets in your blood, there's nothing you'd rather do
This life ain't easy to say the least, and it ain't for the faint of heart
So you better take a second look before you decide to start
It takes physical and mental strength, it'll test everything you have inside
But there is nothing sweeter in life, than making that eight second ride
