I kneel quietly beside my bed,
head bowed, hands -clasped,
eyes closed tightly,
trying to shut out the noise;
trying to form the words,
trying to Pray to You.
I try to imagine your face.
I try to see your eyes;
kind and compassionate-I believe;
I think I almost feel your hand
on my head lovingly.
I want to believe you hear me;
I want to believe you understand;
I want to believe you will answer quickly.
So, I continue to Pray to You.
Lips moving,
Heart throbbing,
Earnestly waiting,
for-
something.
Anything
to happen,
so I know you are real.
And - I -Wait
I - Wait-
I -Wait-
and
You
Are
SILENT.

I can relate to that, but I think he hears us and knows what is best for us, even though its hard for us to understand I think there is a reason for every thing, one day we will know. |
