Wheels of Time

Scholars debate and sages wonder
While soldiers win their spurs in war
Prophets predict and philosophers ponder
Prosperity and Fame are behind the Door
The hierophants answer the Heavenly Bodies' call
Kings in their pride build and tear asunder
Towns and cities rise while monuments crumble and fall
Mighty chiefs struggle in supremacy and valour
But what's all this to me? One turn of the wheel
By the Almighty and we are naught... but dust.
